As winter break approaches, kids are excited about being out of school and enjoying the holidays. For some kids though, this is also a time of worry. For children that rely on being able to eat breakfast and lunch at school, the extended break often means missing meals. This is a worry that no child should have and that is where the Winter Food Box program comes in and helps provide meals for the two weeks of holidays for families in the Backpack Food Program.

We are seeking organizations/individuals to sponsor the Winter Food Box program through monetary donations and/or completed food boxes. This is our fifth year to provide these much needed items and we have set a goal of providing over 200 boxes to families this year. That means we need a lot of sponsors!

Please consider making a tax deductible monetary donation to Student Charities to help ensure that none of our students are having to worry about missing meals this holiday season. 

If a monetary donation is not possible at this time, please consider whether your organization can commit to collecting food and providing one or more completed Gift Boxes. The document below lists the donations that are needed for each Gift Box. A complete box costs approximately $95.
